A few pictures...
Here are some other pictures from this weekend. We went to the State Fair yesterday and met up with David and Jeannie for a little bit. Camille sure has a thing for her Grandpas' hats!

I know, it's been a while since I've put up a new haiku. Maybe I'll have to start doing Haiku of the Week!
FFF - Friends with Stuffing
This week's FFF theme is Friends with Stuffing! Camille LOVES her stuffed friends, especially Pink Kitty, Leo, Mickey, and BB (not pictured). She always likes to have a few of them in bed with her at night and we often check on her and find her clutching a tail or two!

We FINALLY have a camera!
Aaron and I went out last night and bought a new camera. I was missing too many sweet Camille moments and just knew I needed one ASAP! We ended up getting a Fuji Finepix z20, and of course the only one the store had was lime green. Aaron's certainly not complaining, and boasts that it goes nicely with his green Crocs.
I took it to Michael and Sara's today to take pictures of the girls, but of course they were both cranky most of the day and definitely NOT in the posing mood. I could hardly get a smile out of Lydia (she's teething again) , and Camille just wanted to chew on the camera strap. Oh well, I'm sure there will be better picture-taking days ahead. I still have dreams of a digital SLR in the somewhat near future (you know, my birthday IS coming up in a couple months!) so we made sure not to spend too much on this one. I tried looking at other options and convincing myself I don't need an SLR, but to no avail. I was so spoiled by the Bauer's using their Nikon D80 to take pictures of Stella that I needone (or something similar) of my own.

This is Twins Territory!
We took Camille to the Twin's game last night. We all had a really nice time, and had to take turns holding her. She only took a half hour nap while we were there and then didn't go to bed until 11:30, but it was worth it. She seemed to be having fun once she got used to all the noise. She startles pretty easily! Unfortunately, the Twins lost the game to Oakland. But it was still fun! Here are some pictures from the evening...

Guess who's learning to sit up! In just the past couple of days Camille has been able to balance herself enough so that she can sit up on her own for about a minute. She's so cute, and loves it SO much more than laying down!
We've also begun an attempt at cloth diapering. Since in the end it saves us some money, and because it's a heck of a lot better on the environment, we've decided to give it a shot. My goal is to at least do it part time (while we're home, etc.) but if it seems to be going well then maybe we'll do it most/all of the time. We'll have to see. We're only on day 2 and I have yet to wash my first load of dirty diapers (that's my task for this evening), but so far it seems to be going well. I ordered a kit online (a couple diaper covers, seen below, and some prefold diapers) and bought a couple of other kinds to try out. They are certainly bulkier than the disposable diapers, but Camille doesn't seem to mind. She even wore one to church today!
Now that I've written that, I'm sure most (if not all) of you have no interest in Camille's diapers, but I suppose that's ok. If you ARE interested, let me know and we can have an in-depth discussion on the underground life of cloth diapering!
Good news on the job front - I've found a WONDERFUL family to work for! They have a sweet little eight month old daughter and a great love for the Lord. What a blessing they are to us! The Lord has truly answered our prayers. After months of wondering why I haven't been able to find a job, I now know it's because this is where he wanted me to be (of course, He can change His mind at any moment, but for now I really feel like this is His will for me). I am genuinely looking forward to going to work and being able to bring Camille with me. And it is going to be such a blessing for Camille to have a friend she can grow up with. It hasn't yet been determined if I am going to start off part time or full time, but that should be worked out in the next few weeks. Either way, I will be starting at the beginning of September. PRAISE THE LORD, FOR HE IS SO GOOD!!!
That's all for now. I'm watching my niece, Lydia, this week so hopefully I'll be able to borrow my Mom's camera again and get some cute pictures of the girls. It will be nice to spend some time with her since it seems I hardly ever see her. I can't believe she'll be one in less than a month!
Have a nice weekend, everyone! Blessings!

Rolling over and camera woes!
Camille started rolling BOTH WAYS yesterday! She's been able to get from her back to her tummy for almost two months, but she finally figured out to get back onto her back! I wanted to post a video, but unfortunately our camera broke (we're told the motor burned out so the lens doesn't work). We're still trying to decide whether to have it fixed or get a new one - both are expensive! I REALLY want to get a digital SLR, but that's just not in our budget now. If anyone has any camera advice we'd love to hear from you. What do you like/dislike about your own camera? Thanks everyone!

It's official - we've moved! After a very long and tiring day, we're ready to settle into our new bedroom for our first night here. Camille seems to be adjusting well and has already been sleeping in her new room for a couple of hours. Thank you to EVERYONE who helped us - Mom and Dad, David and Jeannie, Auntie Megan, Andy, Camille and Tom, and Michael. We couldn't have done it without you!
Tomorrow's going to be a busy day, too. We're having the installation service for our new pastor at church. Also, my wonderful friend Becca is having an open house for her college graduation. Congratulations, Becca! We're so proud of you. We knew eventually you'd make up your mind about what to major in and we think you made a fantastic decision! Love you!
Well, that's all for now. Time to go watch some Olympics and go to bed!

FFF - Having a Ball!
This week's Favorite Fotos Friday theme is "Having a Ball." I love these pictures of Aaron and Camille having a fun time together. Their time together is so precious since he's at work all day, but when they are together they make their time count!
We're busy packing still. The plan is to start moving around 9 am tomorrow. I hope we'll have everything ready!
Blessings on your weekend!

Our last week in our house is going by quickly. We've been putting off packing much too long, since the plan is to move out on Saturday. Does anyone else HATE moving?! It's just so much to think about. But somehow we'll get everything done. Aaron came home from work early today (he's feeding Camille lunch right now) and hopefully we'll get lots of stuff done before he has to go to church for music practice.
Here are some pictures from this week...

sleeping peacefully - we find ourselves peeking in on her several times each night before we go to bed! she's just so darn sweet we can't help it!

Jonathan and Becky's Wedding
My friends from band at Bethel FINALLY got married yesterday! Jonathan and Becky were like our low brass "parents" at Bethel, especially my freshman year. They were both seniors when I was a freshman and they are the reason our section was so close-knit. I have them to thank for some of the best friends I made in college.
They had an absolutely beautiful wedding in Stillwater. It was held at Camrose Hill Farm, which had gorgeous flowers everywhere, and a small open area for the ceremony. Jason Harms' quartet played during the ceremony and reception (the same group that played at our wedding reception) and we enjoyed their music as usual! And oh my goodness, the food was AMAZING! I've included a picture of it. Strange, I know, but it was truly delicious.
Anyway, Congratulations Jonathan and Becky! We're so happy for you and pray that God blesses you to the fullest!

Favorite Foto Friday!!!
I've decided to join in the blogging fun of FAVORITE FOTO FRIDAY! Through some other blogs I've been following, I found that every Friday there is a particular theme and that you can post a photo (or many photos!) about the weekly theme or just a favorite picture in general. If you'd like to join in the fun or check out some of the other FFF blogs you can visit Sarah's blog - she's the one who started all this fun and chooses each week's theme.

That's all for this week's FFF! Check in next Friday for the new theme!
